Malalai Joya
I was listening to CBC’s The Current this morning and heard the most amazing woman. Her name is Malalai Joya. Often referred to as the bravest woman in Afganistan, she talked about Canada’s involvement in the war. She has recently published a book - A Woman Among Warlords. It’s something I’m definitely going to read. If you have the time, I have have posted a link to her interview with CBC. It’s well worth the listen, she is very inspiring.
